  • Are the lessons included in my course enough for me?

    Although our Genius Divers program aims to provide sufficient knowledge for a new driver some students may feel that the minimum 10 hours may not be enough. If needed, additional individual driving lessons are also offered.
  • Do I have to finish my online course before I start my in-car lessons?

    At Genius Drivers, as long as you have started your online course, you can start your in-car training alongside the online lessons. It is all your choice. To learn more, give us a call.
  • How does the online course work?

    Our online classes require students to complete 20 hours of classwork along with 10 hours of home-link homework. Classes can be completed at your own time with a minimum of 4 days.
  • When can I join the online courses?

    Our online course is available to join anytime. Whether on the weekend or weekday, just call our office or register online.
  • Can I start the online course before I turn 16?

    Yes, you may start your e-Learning course a few months before you turn 16. The in-car lessons may only be completed after you have received your G1 license.
  • How much of a discount will I get on my insurance?

    After completing the online course, you may get up to a 40% discount on your car insurance. This depends on the area you live in, make, the model of your car and your age. The driver’s license history (DLH) provides proof of the completion and graduation from the Beginner Driver Education (BDE) course. You may pick this certificate up from any Service Ontario or order online.
  • When will I get my certificate?

    You will earn your certificate after completing 20 hours of e-Learning theory, 10 hours of homework (home-link) and at least 10 hours of in-vehicle driving lessons.
  • Can someone else join me during my in-car lessons?

    During in-car lessons, only students are allowed for safety and insurance reasons.
  • What type of vehicle will I be learning in?

    Genius Drivers instuctors most commonly use new model automatic transmission vehicles when teaching students.
  • Do your have bilingual instructors who can teach in other languages?

    Genius Drivers insructors teach in english. Some of our instructors can teach in other languages as well. Contact us to learn more.
  • Can I just take a lesson to learn a specific skill?

    Yes, we offer individual lessons for students looking for specific skills such as parking, intersections or other driving skills.
